It is noted that after an annual scheduled repair, the equipment is ready for operation in the winter.

“Within a month, we repaired the household waste bunker, repaired boiler, pump equipment and fittings ourselves, and also brought the equipment of two boilers in proper condition.” The plant burns about 25% of the city waste, which is almost 750 tons of garbage daily. , others are taken to landfills – we completely utilize them, and in return we receive heat energy for residents of residential areas of Poznyaki and Osokorky, “said Energy Director Sergei Krikun.

The restoration of the plant will be gradual. First they will start one boiler, and later other boilers. Reception of household waste plant will also increase gradually. For the first three days, the plant will receive 250 tons of waste, and then 500 tons, and eventually it will reach its operating regime of 750 tons. Such a smooth entry into the work is necessary for safe operation of the equipment, accumulation and preparation of garbage to incineration.
