Spot prices for injection molds of propylene homopolymers (PP homo) in Europe went up last week, ICIS data show.

So, spot quotes for this material rose to a level of EUR1 120-1 160 per tonne, FD NWE (North-Western Europe).

According to the Price Review of ICIS-MRC, following the results of the past week, both the price increase and the decline were recorded in the Russian PP market. The decline in prices has largely affected the market for copolymers of propylene. In the same segment PP-homo, on the contrary, there was a rise in prices and a slight decrease in the supply of PP in the market. In the spot, a part of the suppliers did not have PP-homo raffia offer last week. But this factor did not affect the market.
