Korean giant LG Chem, has a total annual capacity of its factories for the production of 560,000 tons of HDPE, it began active sales of new brands of metallocene injection HDPE SM800.
Metallocene molding HDPE was first launched on the LG Chem plant in 2015. In 2016 line of brands was further developed, and currently the plant is actively offering to the market a new brand mHDPE – SM800. The new brand is produced with the use of its own new generation of metallocene catalyst and on its own unparalleled LG Chem technology in the world.
New Korean brand, compared to traditional injection molding HDPE brands (such as, for example, 2NT-production Kazanorgsintez 22-12) has a fundamentally different quality parameters. She has a great processability: turnover increased by 20%, the processing temperature is lowered to 40 ° C, which allows you to increase productivity (reduce injection cycle) and save energy. The metallocene polyethylene is much cleaner conventional (number of volatile compounds), thereby reducing manufacturing defects (dark inclusions, etc.) and to improve the organoleptic properties of the product (smell, color reproduction, tactile sensations). Also, in order to mHDPE SM800 improved mechanical properties improved cracking resistance (ESCR) by 50%.
Applications SM800: molded products for various purposes. Mark proved to be great for casting products of medium size: tubes for adhesives and sealants, closures for mineral water and juice, plastic buckets and other consumer goods.
Samples of new products Russian converters are available from the leading distributor of polyolefins production of LG Chem – the company “Ekoplastiks”.
“Ekoplastiks” company – a dynamic trading company, engaged in the supply of polymer raw materials from South Korea. The company’s office is located in the north-west of Moscow, warehouse – near Moscow to Leningrad Highway. “Ekoplastiks”, first of all, is a distributor of production of polymers LG Chem – the largest Korean manufacturer of innovative materials for various industries. In addition, “Ekoplastiks” has direct long-term contracts with other major Korean manufacturers of polymer raw materials (Hyosung, Huyndai).
