SPE “Polyplastic” is preparing to launch an automatic installation for removing the screw elements.

The new equipment came from Germany, it is the first production of the company “C.A. PICARD international” installed in the enterprise. Until now, the factory has not worked with this manufacturer, although a number of German-made production lines are already operating there.

Installation of the plant gives start to the program on automation of production processes at Polyplastic. Currently, the company operates 12 production lines that produce composite materials of more than 250 brands.

According to calculations of specialists, in 2018 the demand for the plant’s products will begin to grow – first of all, on polyethylene pipes. According to preliminary forecasts, the total volume of such pipes in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan will reach 545 thousand tons next year. Last year’s results amounted to 370 thousand tons, of which the largest share of the market belonged to Russia – 262 thousand tons.

“Polyplastic” itself lived in 2016 quite safely. This was facilitated by a large order for pipes from the petrochemical plant “ZapSibNeftekhim”, which is being built in Tobolsk, belonging to the SIBUR group. Partnership with him allowed the plant in Engels to increase production while the total consumption of polyethylene pipes in Russia fell by 2%.

– If in figures, the volume determined for the construction of ZapSib amounted to 22-24 thousand tons, including main pipelines and auxiliary ones. This is 8-10% of the total market. The project was implemented in the first half of 2016, of course, he pulled the situation for producers of pipes and polyethylene. Most of the polyethylene for this volume was of Russian origin. If we exclude the SIBUR project, then the drop in the market was 10%, – said the director of the pipeline systems department Kirill Trusov at the conference “Polyethylene. Polypropylene. 2017 “.
For 2016 NPP Polyplastic sold 177.4 thousand tons of pipes, 1.5% higher than the level of the previous year. In the current year, Polyplastika specialists do not expect an increase in demand. But if in a year it increases, the plant will be able to increase its production to 400 tons by 2021.

This year, the company presented its potential customers with a novelty – local treatment plants made of polyethylene. They are designed for the purification of surface wastewater to norms that allow the discharge of water into the sewer systems of cities or water bodies. “Polyplastic” proposes to solve the problem through its systems that can operate autonomously for at least 50 years. Control their work can be remotely transmitted to the dispatching console.

Recall that in 2016 Polyplastica products were introduced in Europe. The enterprise launched the program “Export Afterburner” and started work on entering the foreign market. The innovative coating for oil and gas pipes developed by Polyplastic was demonstrated at the end of October at the Künststoff exhibition in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Help “BV”. OOO NPP Polyplastic in Engels has been in operation since 2012. The enterprise was established by the Polyplastic Group, a manufacturer of engineering plastics. The plant started with the production of polymer pipes, but since 2015, after the installation of new production lines, production of composite thermoplastic materials was launched on it. Investments in the project amounted to 205 million rubles. Now the plant is the largest producer of polymers in Russia. The factory in Engels is headed by the general director Alexander Pavlov. The company’s financial result in 2015 is revenue growth of 17%, to 6.1 billion rubles. The company announced a net profit of 364.5 million rubles.
