The company Sibur, the largest producer of expandable polystyrene (EPS-C) in Russia, has announced the decrease of export prices for September, according to a weekly price review ICIS-MRC.

According to sources in the market, the September price of expandable polystyrene reduced by USD30 per ton from August offers on FCA Voronezh, excluding VAT.

OJSC “SIBUR Holding” is the gas processing and petrochemical company. In the petrochemical SIBUR segment has three installation pyrolysis, two plants for the production of base polymers, producing high-pressure polyethylene (LDPE) and polypropylene (PP), three plants for the production of synthetic rubber, producing basic and special rubbers and thermoplastic elastomers, and 13 enterprises producing a wide range of semi-finished products of plastics and organic chemicals, including polyethylene glycols, alcohols, BOPP films, expandable polystyrene, acrylates, and plastic materials.
