Propylene high purity meets the requirements of technological regulations LyondellBasell and enters as a raw material in the Omsk Polypropylene Plant.

The scheme provides clean as the imported propylene and propylene obtained by dividing the propane-propylene fraction on its own site processing plant PPF “Omsk rubber”.

The project started in the autumn of 2014 and demanded a complex of construction and assembly works, purchase of new equipment, installation capacity for receiving propylene and download the required catalysts.

The process takes place in several stages: drying on zeolites, removing acetylene and diene hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and oxygen, removal of arsine, phosphine and sulfide.

For regeneration (recovery) of zeolite desiccants used equipment of Russian-Italian production – flow heater nitrogen. Commissioning of the heater was conducted during the stop repair, and now it functions normally. The use of this equipment has allowed to significantly reduce energy consumption and minimize emissions to the environment
