Eurasian Economic Commission plans to make changes to a single commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity and the Common Customs Tariff, and the presentation of the new edition from January 1, 2017, according to MRC analysts.
From April 18 th began discussion of the draft “On amendments to the Decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated July 16, 2012 № 54”, to amend the single commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Common Customs Tariff of the Eurasian Economic Union and their presentation in new edition from January 1 next year. The changes include the expansion of the commodity nomenclature in many positions, including polymers.
According to the discussion draft is planned to amend the rules for determining the commodity nomenclature of goods for the whole group, including 39 of the first group, classifying polymers and articles thereof, rubber and articles thereof. Also in the draft decision planned to introduce a number of additional commodity sub-codes in a single commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Eurasian Economic Union.
In particular, linear polyethylene, copolymers in which the content of more than 5%, it is planned to introduce an additional code 0 3901 40 000 zero rate of import. The company plans to change the HS codes for polyvinyl chloride and polystyrene.
