PJSC “Kuibyshevazot” plans to organize the production of engineering plastics in Germany. The business plan for the creation of the production of composites in Rudolstadt was approved by the company’s board of directors at a meeting on February 1, Rupec reports, citing data from the disclosure server.

Investments in the project will amount to EUR2.9 million, production capacity – 22 thousand tons of composite materials a year.

Last year, KuibyshevAzot received revenue in the amount of 59.7 billion rubles. The company notes that the growth was primarily ensured by increasing the production of marketable products by 18.4%. The company’s net profit for 2018 amounted to 7.1 billion rubles.

Earlier it was reported that KuibyshevAzot March 2, 2018 launched the fourth phase of production of the PA-6. The capacity of the new installation is 160 tons per day or 58.4 thousand tons per year of polymer for the production of films, threads and fibers, as well as engineering plastics. The launch of the new equipment will allow the company to increase the total capacity of polyamide-6 to 212 thousand tons and reach this figure in 8th place in the world.

PJSC “KuibyshevAzot” is one of the leading enterprises of the Russian chemical industry, produces caprolactam and its products (polyamide-6, high-strength industrial yarns, cord fabric, engineering plastics); ammonia and nitrogen fertilizers (ammonium nitrate, urea, ammonium sulfate, CAM).
