The integrated margin in the production of polypropylene (PP) in the European market grew in the first week of March, ICIS reported.

Thus, the integrated internal margin for the production of naphtha material increased by 3.4%, while the margin for the production of PP in the propane dehydrogenation plants increased by 4.7%.

At the same time, prices for raw materials – naphtha – went up in the region during the reporting period, quotations for products released from naphtha rose.

Also, the prices of raw materials for the operation of propane dehydrogenation plants have decreased.

At the same time, domestic prices of PP in Europe rose last week.

According to Scan Report Company Market Report, the total volume of PP production in Russia declined by 2.2% in the previous year compared to the same period in 2017 and amounted to 1,370.5 thousand tons. At the same time, only two manufacturers of seven showed a decrease in production volumes.
