The Polymers for Europe Alliance warns that European plastics producers are deficient in titanium dioxide (TiO2), which is used as a white dye and as a UV stabilizer in rigid PVC products.
In addition to the problems in the TiO2 market, some polymers are also experiencing difficulties, which may put plastics processors before a subsequent significant price increase.
