Russia plans to impose sanctions against a number of companies and businessmen of Ukraine, reports Afn.by.
The publication notes that in the near future, Russian President Putin will sign a decree “On the application of measures of influence (countermeasures) to ensure the security of the Russian Federation against Ukraine,” which provides for the imposition of sanctions against a number of citizens and business entities of Ukraine.
In addition to the decree, a government decree has been prepared with a list of 23 individuals and 44 legal entities of Ukraine, which will be subject to economic sanctions for a period of three years.
The list includes such companies as Karpatneftekhim, Sumykhimprom, Europolymer, Prominvest Plastic, Evropet, Zaporozhye titanium and magnesium plant, Mezhdurechensky GOK, Dneprazot, Nadex-Ukraine, Ecosoft, Karat, Flexx.
Also, such Ukrainian businessmen as Firtash, Levochkin, Boyko, Sidorov, Savenkov, Mitchenko, Tyutyunnikov, Domnic, Dundich, Ruzhitsky, Konyushenko, Ivanov Georgy, Abdulov, Iskiv, Lazakovich, Baranov, Kusiv, Taras, Chernyaev, Sklyarov Kasyan, Yurov, Rubchevsky.
One of the reasons for imposing sanctions was Ukraine’s restriction of fertilizer supplies from Russia in March this year, as a result of which Phosagro, Evrokhim, Uralchim and other Russian producers suffered.
Earlier it was reported that from April 2017, Ukraine imposed a temporary ban on the import of all RusVinyl products and Caustic (Volgograd). Two other producers of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) – the Bashkir soda company and Sayanskkhimplast in the document were not mentioned.
