The new plant is located in the shops of the former PMK-84 in the industrial zone of the city.
Representatives of the Council of Ministers of the Crimea, city leaders, investors came to the opening ceremony.
“Evpatorians will be pleased to learn that we have opened such a plant. One of the tasks of the authorities is to contribute to the creation of new jobs. We are actively working in this direction, “the Head of the city Olesya Kharitonenko stressed and wished the staff prosperity and success in development.
Congratulated all Evpatorians with this pleasant event and the head of the city administration Andrei Filonov. “Looking a little bit beyond the horizon, I will say that this is not the last discovery, there will be a whole number of productions, both large and small. Just yesterday we signed a memorandum on the construction of a plant for the production of glass-composite pipes. Soon Evpatoria will be known not only as a children’s health resort, but also a city on whose territory high-quality products are produced, “the head said.
Investor Irina Dorokhova thanked the Ministry of Economic Development and the administration of the city for assistance in the implementation of the project. She also thanked all the staff of the LLC “Crimean Cable Plant” Evkabel “, who helped build the workshops, install equipment, and establish production.
After cutting the traditional red ribbon, the guests inspected the workshops, where cable and conductor products were produced.
As the factory director Roman Romashov said, in fact the enterprise exists as a legal entity since the summer of 2015. About a year the work at the plant was conducted in parallel with the construction. Now the company employs about 40 people, and in the future there should be about a hundred. The workshops installed the latest technological equipment of the European class. This makes it possible to increase the mass of processed raw materials by 3-4 times in comparison with Russian analogues.
The main goal of this project is to ensure uninterrupted supply of high quality cable throughout the territory of the Republic of Crimea. After all, today cable is a modern channel for data transmission, signals and information in communication and telecommunications systems, and is also in great demand in the sphere of housing and communal services, energy, construction, transport, oil and gas.
So far, the first of three new production lines has been launched. Further, it is planned to open a shop for the primary processing of copper wire rod and the opening of the production of a telecommunications cable and a communication cable.
