Nizhnekamskneftekhim (NKNH, part of the TAIF group) in November significantly reduced the supply of high-impact polystyrene (UPS / M) and general-purpose polystyrene (PSS / M) to the Ukrainian market, according to the ICIS-MRC Price Review.

So, according to several market participants, this month the plant will not ship the UPS / M and PSS / M to Ukrainian traders.

Moreover, in December, a significant increase in free volumes for Ukrainian buyers is also not expected.

Currently, the Ukrainian market of polystyrene (PS) remains an acute shortage of high-impact polystyrene, traders have general-purpose material available.

Due to the current situation, some market participants intend to start purchasing material from Turkey along with the Iranian substation.
