SIBUR-Khimprom reduced the cost of expandable polystyrene (PSV-S) for November deliveries for Ukrainian buyers by USD45 per ton, according to the ICIS-MRC Price Review.

So, November material prices for the Ukrainian market were lowered to the level of USD1,230 per tonne, FCA Voronezh, excluding VAT.

At the same time, the Russian manufacturer did not limit applications of buyers for deliveries this month.

In October, SIBUR-Khimprom raised PSV-S prices for Ukraine by USD5 per tonne to the level of USD1,275 per tonne, FCA Voronezh, excluding VAT.

SIBUR-Khimprom (part of the SIBUR Holding structure) specializes in the processing of liquid hydrocarbons and is one of the leading Russian producers of a number of the most important petrochemical products. The company has three main production facilities: the production of butyl alcohols and 2-ethylhexanol with a capacity of 160 thousand tons per year; production of ethylbenzene (with a capacity of 220 thousand tons per year), styrene (with a capacity of 135 thousand tons per year) and polystyrene (100 thousand tons per year); production of ethylene and propylene; production of eco-friendly plasticizer DOTF (100 thousand tons per year).
