Negotiations regarding the October level of prices of European PP began last week. Many market participants have concluded that in most cases, local producers do not go to a proportional reduction in the prices of propylene and export prices of polypropylene.

Last week transactions regarding the October supplies of propylene homopolymer (PP-Homo) were discussed in the range of EUR1 010-1 080 per tonne, FCA, whereas a month earlier the transaction was consistent in the range of EUR1 110-1 160 per tonne, FCA.

As reported, many companies, offer PP-Homo raffia grade the majority of producers is limited. Some manufacturers can ship the polypropylene at the end of the month. Transactions regarding the supply of block copolymers of propylene (PP-unit) were discussed in the range of EUR1 070 to 1 150 per ton, FCA, with an average of EUR90 / tonne below the level of September.
