Supplies of raw materials to the Ukrainian petrochemical enterprise Karpatneftekhim (Kalush) for 10 months amounted to 222 thousand tons, Nefterynok reports with reference to the data of the consulting company UPECO.

Of this amount, about 209.5 thousand tons fell on stable gasoline. For this period, the supply of raw materials to the Karpatneftekhim was carried out by the Volgograd, Perm and Nizhny Novgorod refineries of Lukoil – 204.1 thousand tons. Another 5.23 thousand tons of stable gasoline produced by the Belarusian Gas Refinery was shipped from Belarus.

In addition, the enterprise imported 7.65 thousand tons of gasoline for industrial purposes from Belarus and Romania. So, about 5.9 thousand tons were sent from Mozyr Oil Refinery, and from Romania – 1.7 thousand tons, presumably produced at Petrotel Lukoil refinery capacities.

Also, the plant received about 4 thousand tons of diesel fuel from the Samara group of refineries of Rosneft, which were delivered to Ukraine via the oil pipeline “Prykarpatzapadtrans”.

In addition, 900 tons of butane from Tuymazinsky GPP (Bashneft) and 100 tons of isobutane fraction of Novokuybyshevskaya NHC (Rosneft) were shipped to the company via the territory of Belarus.

Supplies of raw materials to the plant in Kalush began in May 2017. In early June, Karpatneftekhim resumed production of petrochemical products after a long period of inactivity.

By decisions of February 2, 2017, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine granted permission for the concentration of 50% of Lukoil Chemic BV shares (owned 100% of the shares in Karpatneftekhim), the citizen of Ukraine Ilham Mammadov through the Cyprus Xedrian Holding Ltd and 25% of the British company Techinservice Limited, which is part of the pool OOO “Production group Tekhinservis.”

Karpatneftekhim (Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region) – is the largest producer of polymers in Ukraine. The company produces polyolefins (ethylene and propylene), polyethylene, chlorine, polyvinyl chloride and caustic soda. The enterprise’s capacities allow producing 300 thousand tons of ethylene, 100 thousand tons of HDPE, 180 thousand tons of caustic soda and 300 thousand tons of PVC per year.
