Earlier it was reported that the contract price of propylene in Europe for March deliveries was finally agreed at EUR825 per tonne, which is EUR20 per tonne lower than the level of the previous month. The contract price was approved under the terms of FD NWE (with delivery to North-West Europe).
Propylene is the main raw material component for the production of polypropylene (PP).
According to ScanPlast of Market Report, the supply of PP in the Russian market in January 2020 amounted to 127.24 thousand tons, which is 33% more than in 2019. The main increase in supplies came from propylene homopolymer (PP-homo) from ZapSibNeftekhim.
