In the environs of Lviv, another burning of garbage took place at the Gribović dump.

This is reported by the Department of Civil Protection of the Lviv Regional State Administration on the page in Facebook.

As they say in the message, the fire began on June 10 at 18:20 near the village of Zbyranka, on the territory of the Gribovichi landfill. The fire was liquidated at 19:15 by two fire units. Fire has managed to destroy 10 square meters of garbage.

Also reported on a fire in a landfill in Brody. There the fire began at 12:49. Before the firefighters had time to do anything, 20 square kilometers of garbage was burnt.

Recall, at the end of May 2016 at the Gribovych dump three rescuers were killed. They came to eliminate the fire in the dump. During their work, there was a shift of debris, under which all three fell. On May 31, bodies of rescuers were found. The director and deputy director of the communal enterprise Zbiranka, to whom the dump belongs, was arrested.
