This city was well recognized by the smell of coffee and the taste of chocolate. But for almost a year now one more detail has become an unpleasant business card of Lviv – garbage. After the tragedy at the garbage site in Gribovichi, Lvivans have nowhere to take out the garbage. And if in the center where there are many tourists, the garbage is more or less cleaned, then in the sleeping areas – from stench and dirt do not go away. Mountains from garbage bags grow.

Lviv on the verge of ecological disaster, officials of the City Council are sure. 350 tanks are overcrowded, and this is almost a third of the garbage sites in Lviv.

To the city does not lose its face, every morning must clean up the local cleaners. For more than 15 years of work, these women have not seen this. Now their task is not only to sweep the yard or wash staircases – what the wind blew away during the night, they should be returned to the heaps of the tanks. Therefore, they work in two shifts.
