According to the Price Review of ICIS-MRC, in the opinion of some players on the Russian market, quotes of the PS in February will increase due to an increase in the cost of growth in the level of import parity. The tendency to strengthen the ruble / dollar exchange rate will mitigate the possible price increase. The situation on the Russian polystyrene market is generally calm, supply and demand are balanced. A significant increase in the prices of the European PS is expected this month.

Trinseo (formerly Styron), headquartered in Horgenge, Switzerland, is the largest European producer of polystyrene, emulsion polymers, polycarbonate and synthetic rubbers. From February 1, 2015, Styron changed its name to Trinseo.
