Styrolution will conduct preventive maintenance on plant PS Anwerpane

Planned maintenance work at the plant with a capacity of 475 thousand tons of PS per year will be spent in the next five weeks.

The source added that the company already has some material stocks in anticipation of maintenance, however, it was hard to do on the back of good demand in the past few months. It is expected that the majority of contractual obligations for the supply of the substation will be performed.

As reported previously, the company Market report, in February this year, Styrolution has commissioned a pilot plant for the production of styrene-butadiene copolymer (SBS) in Antwerp. The new plant will produce all grades of SBS, which produces Styrolution, and it has capabilities for processing other types of polymers.
