Last week started negotiations on a Middle East July shipments of polyethylene pipe (HDPE) for the supply to Ukraine. Local companies have concluded a major decline in prices, according to a price review ICIS-MRC.
Despite the relative stability in the commodities market, Middle Eastern producers went into a serious decline in HDPE prices, in particular for the PE100 pipe shipments to Ukraine. Local companies have reported price falls by an average of USD100 per tonne in comparison with the level of June.
Negotiations for July shipments are carried out in the range of USD1 260-1 300 per tonne, CIF Odessa, for black PE100, whereas a month ago, deals were in the range of USD1 360-1 400 per tonne, CIF Odessa.
A similar situation and with the July shipments of polyethylene pipe and Asia. from Asian producers proposals voiced in the range of USD1 280-1 320 per tonne, CIF Odessa, which is USD100 per tonne below the June level.
MRC
