Аналог 158 (2)The January contract price of ethylene in Europe was agreed at EUR45 per tonne above December levels. European producer of polyethylene (PE) went to higher export prices of EUR45 per tonne and above, according to a price review ICIS-MRC.

Negotiations on the European export prices of PE began last week, and in most cases the transaction was immediately agreed. Many negotiators have concluded that all manufacturers from Europe went to higher export prices of polyethylene. Prices have been adjusted for at least EUR45 per ton, some manufacturers announced price increase of up to EUR80 per tonne. As in December, the majority of manufacturers to export there are serious limitations in the current month.

Transactions for January shipment of low-density polyethylene (HDPE) is to EUR1 090-1 205 per tonne range, FCA, while the previous month deals were in the range of EUR1 045-1 160 per tonne, FCA. Negotiations on the supply pipe of black PE100 were in the range of EUR1 225- 1270 per tonne FCA, which is EUR75-80 per tonne above December levels. According to participants in the negotiations, the producers from Hungary, Serbia and the Czech Republic are still serious restrictions on exports in the current month.

Transactions in January regarding shipments of high-density polyethylene (LDPE) were discussed ranging EUR1 205 – 1 275 per tonne, FCA, while the previous month deals were in the range of EUR1 160 – 1 230 per tonne, FCA. As in the case of HDPE, saved restrictions on the shipment of this month for a number of manufacturers.
