PJSC “Linik” (Lisichansk, Luhansk region.) Plans to resume production of polypropylene in March of this year, reported the regional edition of “The Informant,” referring to the head of Lugansk regional military and civil administration of George Tuku.
“As soon as an additional power supply is made, and according to our calculations, this mid-March, almost immediately one of the plants will begin to work”, – quotes its publication.
According G.Tukaya, e local businessmen have an interest in the construction of the plant in Luhansk region for the production of soda.
“The only plant that was afloat, remained in Crimea. We have the raw materials, but the production is not there. There were private investors who want to build a plant,” – he said.
As reported, the supply of oil to Lisichansk refinery stopped in March 2012 because of its unprofitability (polypropylene production for some time continued to work on imported raw materials). The company owns the Russian state company “Rosneft”.
Previously existed in Lisichansk plant for the production of soda – OJSC “Lisichansk Soda” was destroyed and cut for scrap metal “Russian Soda Company”
