Business Unit packaging and specialty plastics US petrochemical company Dow Chemical – Dow Packaging & Specialty Plastics has announced the launch of a new line of polymer materials INNATE, according to the Russian division of the company in the exhibition “Interplastica 2016”.
The report said that when creating a new material specialists Dow applied advanced technology based on a patented molecular catalyst.
“Materials INNATE created as a result of numerous discussions with processors and brand owners, as well as taking into account a thorough analysis of market trends,” – said Diego Donoso, President of the Business Unit “Specialty Packaging and plastics” company Dow.
Intended use of the products INNATE covers a range of areas – from flexible packaging for the food bags to the transport of large capacity.
The report notes that the new material has a significant (up to two-fold) increase stability in coextruded films (compared with conventional polyethylenes available on the market), high impact strength and good processability.
“The introduction of line packaging polymers INNATE was the result of this” breakthrough “which is expressed in the use of advanced technology and patented catalyst. Now brand owners, retailers and processors, the desired ability to create the exact combinations for packaging materials, demanded both at home and at work ( including the food industry), “- said Nestor de Mattos, director of marketing of packaging and specialty plastics Dow.
