The specialists of RPC “Polyplastic” developed compositions based on Russian raw materials that can replace imported analogues supplied to isolate the steel pipe oil and gas pipelines, thereby reducing the cost of the projects, their dependence on currency fluctuations and risks of limiting imports.
The total investment in the project will be about EUR 10 million. In 2015, the NPP “Polyplastic” received a state subsidy for the reimbursement of payments on loans for the project, as the companies included in the federal list of companies that have a significant impact on industry and trade.
At the end of 2015 covering with polyethylene composition Thorley PE-2K and the adhesive Armobond PE 2K production NPP “Polyplastic” successfully passed certification tests in specialized institutes of PJSC “Gazprom” and JSC “Transneft”.
