Last night, unidentified unloaded 40 tons of garbage in a spontaneous dump in the Stavishchensky district of the Kiev region. This was reported by the Department of Communication of the regional police.
According to the information received during the inspection, the waste was brought from Lviv, because they found payment documents indicating the details of Lviv organizations.
“The police find out all the circumstances of the incident and the data of those involved in organizing the illegal export of garbage,” the report said.
In parallel, the issue of opening a criminal proceeding under Art. 239 (“Pollution or damage to lands”) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Recall, in late June, Lviv transferred the authority to export solid domestic waste from the city of the regional administration. July 14 in the city finished the removal of garbage from 667 crowded garbage sites.
It was reported that garbage take polygons of the region.
At the same time, it was announced the intention in the near future to introduce separate garbage collection in the city.
Recall that the removal of garbage from Lviv to the landfills in the region was unblocked on June 26, 2017.
