In Krivoy Rog will build a plant for processing solid domestic waste, reports EcoTown.

The project is being developed by the state enterprise “Research and Design and Technological Institute of Municipal Economy”, which won the contest.

Now the working group is studying the need for secondary raw materials and determines how sorting of household waste, in particular, organic materials, as well as glass, plastic, cardboard and paper, should occur.

As noted in the research institute, about half of the waste will remain unsuitable for recycling.

“Unprofitable food products and their remains should be immediately separated from bottles and waste paper,” experts say. “This is necessary in order to use secondary raw materials for processing.”
