The Kyiv city state administration plans to build garbage processing plants in the Goloseevsky and Darnitsky districts. This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to the deputy chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Petr Panteleyev.

“The city plans to build several waste-processing enterprises. This year, we are starting to design two garbage processing plants that will take urban rubbish, “he said.

According to him, one of the plants will appear in Goloseevsky district on the street. Red Banner, and the second will be built on the street. Collector on the left bank of Kiev.

Panteleev also added that the KSCA abandoned the project for the construction of incineration plants in Pidhirtsi.

“No one will build an incinerator, because the motivation of such plants is the simultaneous sale of heat. This is economically impractical. Waste processing is possible. But this issue must be solved with the local community, “Panteleyev said.

As previously reported, a project is being developed in Kyiv for the construction of two incineration plants focused on the most modern environmental standards. It should be noted that KSCA plans to attract Korean companies to create an industrial park “Kyiv Business Harbor” and a recreational area on Trukhan Island, modernize CHPP-6, build an incinerator (processing plant).
