Also during the meeting they discussed the possibilities and conditions for the implementation of recycling waste in the territory of the Carpathian region. It was, and about the economic effect of the operation of such a plant.

The aim of its work is the use of new technologies, which can achieve significant results in the field of waste management, creating new sources of raw materials, accumulating a large energy potential.

Yesterday, 15 November, the First Deputy Chairman of Regional State Administration Maria Savka held a working meeting with the delegation of the city of Edmonton (Alberta, Canada) company Waste RE – solutions, which aims to build a waste recycling plant in Kolomyia district.

Representatives Waste RE – solutions and its partners (a joint venture in China) came at the invitation of the authorities Kolomyia district. During the meeting, the company presented the projects developed for small communities for the construction of a waste processing plant.

Representatives of the companies intend to evaluate the effectiveness of similar projects in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. In particular, the construction of a plant in the city of Kolomyia Kolomyia district or for the processing of municipal solid waste and 95% of the modular closed-type, line drying and sorting and crushing, with a capacity of about 40 tons / day.

“The issue of waste disposal is very important for the Carpathian so power will do everything to facilitate the embodiment and implementation of Waste RE – solutions. Perhaps Coloma will be a pilot project and subsequently have similar recycling plants we can build in other areas of the region “, – said Maria Savka.
