The contract price was agreed on terms of delivery free on Board (FOB) Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (АRА).

This price of styrene confirmed three buyer and two sellers.

This month was expected a small decline in prices, as the market activity traditionally slows down in August. Pictures of styrene are already in a bearish trend in the past few months.

However, the fall in prices was restricted on the back of good demand from regional production of intermediate goods and limited production volumes, and also due to warm weather in Europe.

According to the company Market report, July prices of styrene monomer in Europe were agreed at the level of EUR1 325 / tonne FOB АRА that EUR85 per tonne lower compared with June. In July we also expected some decline in prices of styrene, as European prices jumped sharply earlier in 2015 amid several stops production in the region and supply-side constraints
