Prices of LLDPE film grades (LDL) in China fell on Wednesday at USD10 per ton on the background of sluggish buying activity in the market, sources told ICIS market.

Thus, spot prices of film LDL brands in the Chinese market on Wednesday were at USD1 100-1 170 per tonne, CFR China.

Market sources said that the number of transactions in the price range above has been concluded.

One of the traders bargained for Middle East LDL level at USD1 170 per tonne, CFR China, while another trader offered to the Middle East on the material level USD1 195 per tonne, CFR China, which did not cause any consumer interest.

As reported by the MRC, LDL prices in China on August 22 increased to the level of USD1 100-1 160 per tonne, CFR China. Manufacturer of the Middle East proposed film LDL level at USD1 170 per tonne, CFR China, for shipment in September. Then, LDL prices in the Chinese market stibilizirovalis earlier this week and were in the range of USD1 100-1 180 per tonne, CFR China.
