IMG_5635The August contract price of propylene in Europe was agreed level of July. Nevertheless, the opinion of the European producers on the level of export prices of polypropylene (PP) in the current month for the markets of the CIS countries are divided, according to a price review ICIS-MRC.

Negotiations on the August price level for European PP began on Monday. Many market participants have concluded that the part of European producers have gone on a slight decline in export prices for homo-PP supply in August, while the price of copolymers stored at the level of July. One of the producers, on the contrary, raised the price.

This week, the August transaction concerning the supply of propylene homopolymer (PP-homo) are discussed in a fairly large range EUR910-1 040 per tonne, FCA, while the previous month deals were in the range EUR880-1 060 per tonne, FCA. For some manufacturers are still restrictions on the shipment of PP-homo, in particular, raffia grade.

Transactions regarding the supply of block copolymers of propylene (PP block) discussed a range of EUR1 065-1 130 per tonne, FCA. Negotiations for August shipments stat-propylene copolymer (PP-random) were within EUR1 095-1 160 per tonne, FCA.
