Bashneft was included in the list of 468 Russian companies, against which Ukraine imposed sanctions, Interfax reports referring to the decree of the President of Ukraine №133 of May 15, 2017.

Now Bashneft is prohibited from participating in privatization, renting state property in Ukraine for a period of one year.

In addition, the list includes “Grand Plastic” (Kursk), “Sergo Plant”, Kamenskvolokno, “Titanium Investments”, as well as automakers – LLC “GAZ Group Management Company” (RF), OOO “Russian buses – GAZ Group (Moscow region), Pavlovsky Bus Plant LLC and PJSC KAMAZ.

Sanctions against Russian companies include the blocking of assets – a temporary restriction on the right of a person to use and dispose of his property; Restriction of trading operations; Prevention of the withdrawal of capital outside Ukraine; Suspension of the fulfillment of economic and financial obligations; Restriction or termination of the provision of telecommunications services and the use of public telecommunications networks.

Restrictive measures are applied for a period of one to three years.
