Industrial production in Ukraine in August 2016 increased by 3.4% compared to the same month of 2015, while the decline in July was 0.2%, and in June – 3.4%, the State Statistics Service.

According to a new form of data, the agency said that adjusted for the effect of calendar days in August, industrial production in August of last year rose by 1.5% compared with an increase of 0.9% in July.

In general, the first eight months in 2016 the growth in industry accelerated to 2% c 1,7% in the first seven months.

State Statistics said that in August compared to July of this year, industrial production decreased by 0.8%, and taking into account the seasonal factor – by 1.0%.

The Office also reminds that was 17.4%, and in general over the past year, industrial production fell by 13.4% in Ukraine in January-August 2015 the decline in January-August 2014, while in 2014 – 10.1 %, in 2013 – by 4.7%, in 2012 – by 0.5%.

As previously reported, the decline in industrial production in Ukraine in July 2016 on an annualized basis, compared with July 2015, slowed to 0.2% from 3.4% recorded the previous month.
