Two subsidiaries of the group signed a design and construction contract for about $ 238 million and for a period of 36 months, the report said.

China Energy will build two 750-ton units, as well as provide operation and maintenance services for the power plant. She will be able to recycle 1,500 tons of garbage per day.

The Kiev authorities are looking for an investor for the construction of a waste recycling plant for several years. In 2018, the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, reported that such a plant would appear in 2020. It was about a capacity of 430,000 tons per year and a project cost of 50 million euros. At the same time, a competition for a contractor was announced.
