In the Chernihiv region, the truck driver poured 12 tons of garbage in the territory of the Steppe village of the Borznyansky district.

Seeing what was happening, the villagers called the police. On the scene immediately left the response team of the patrol police, which stopped on leaving the village is already an empty truck.

The truck driver did not deny his guilt. He said that he had loaded trash in Lviv and a Volvo car with a semi-trailer to the Steppe village, where he threw it.

Police opened criminal proceedings for pollution of land with waste. This crime is punishable by a fine of up to 3400 UAH or by deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years.
