Within the framework of the project on improvement in the City Council, the design of so-called sarcophagi, in which ordinary garbage containers will be hidden, has been developed.
The first sarcophagus was installed in the center of the city – on Primorsky Boulevard. At the top of such a box for the container is a hole where you can throw out the trash, and the rear wall rises so that the container on the wheels can easily drive in and out.
“The sarcophagus is made in accordance with the requirements for the design of facilities for placement in this part of the city,” the press service of the municipality said.
Now, officials will appreciate how well the sarcophagus copes with its task, and decide whether to place the same on other streets of the city. Note, now it will be more difficult for hooligans to tear off the lid from the container.
In addition, the city council says that in Odessa they continue to work to create “pockets” along the roads for containers, so that they do not interfere with the movement of cars.
