In the first nine months of the current year the total volume of imports of polypropylene (PP) in Ukraine grew by 31% compared to the same period of 2015 and amounted to about 88 thousand. Tonnes. In September, the volume of imports of polypropylene in Ukraine decreased to 8.6 thousand. Tons compared to 10.7 thousand. In September, the external component supply block copolymers (PP-block) of propylene actually remained at the level of August and amounted to about 1 ths. Tons. During the period under review were imported 8.5 thousand. Tons of block copolymers of propylene, whereas a year earlier the rate was 7.1 thous. Tons.

Last month, the import of propylene copolymers stat in Ukraine fell below 1 ths. Tons against 1.5 thousand. Tons in August, local processors is almost three times reduced the volume of external purchases of PP pipe. In January – September 2016 the total volume of imports of PP-Random exceeded the level of 10 thousand tons, whereas a year earlier the figure was 7 tons…
