After the tragedy at the Gribovichi dump, the court closed the only city training ground at the prosecutor’s office. Without landfills of solid household waste, Lviv residents and residents of the four districts around were found.

But the garbage does not evaporate. The city produces 600 tons of waste per day. Therefore, the city council began to look for where to export it.

Various settlements in the Lviv region agreed to help. Ten agreements were signed with ten polygons. And almost immediately the cities began to refuse. Because, despite agreements with the cities, trucks with garbage began to block locals and activists. However, it turned out that these protests have a somewhat political flavor.

In June 2016, the Zolochev district center hosted Lviv garbage. It houses a private sorting line, which operates a municipal landfill. With her, Lviv carriers and concluded an agreement. And a week later they refused.

The community of the village put a barrier at the entrance to the landfill and blocked the traffic. After that, we did not take garbage from Lvov,
