MCC “EuroChem” begins trial against former top managers suspected of accepting bribes from contractors in the Russian jurisdiction.

MCC “EuroChem” and its Swiss trader EuroChem Trading April 22 filed with the Arbitration Court of Moscow region the application for providing proprietary interest in the ex-employees of the company Valery Rogalsky and Dmitry Pomytkina.

In “Evrokhim” did not specify the essence of the claim, recalling that two years ago, these employees were terminated the employment relationship due to loss of confidence in leadership. According to the publication, the amount of damage is estimated at 38.44 million dollars.

In April this year, the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten, citing data from “Panama dossier” wrote that the Norwegian fertilizer producer Yara International from 2004 to 2009 transferred $ 2.6 million for the offshore accounts of two former managers “EuroChem”.
