выдув4The March contract price of ethylene in Europe was agreed at EUR20 per tonne lower than in February. Many European polyethylene (PE) manufacturers, by contrast, went on to higher export prices for polymer markets of the CIS countries, according to a price review ICIS-MRC.

Appreciation of PE is up to EUR20 per ton, while some manufacturers do not exclude that in April and did not have to be export quotas for the markets of the CIS countries.

Transactions for March shipment of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) discussed this week in the range of EUR 1 170 – 1 225 per tonne, FCA, while February’s deals were in the range of EUR 1 150-1 225 per tonne, FCA. As some market participants point out, there are certain limitations in the scope of supply of certain types.

Currently there are no problems with shipments of high-density polyethylene (LDPE) from European manufacturers. Transactions are mainly discussed in the range of EUR 1 170 – 1 220 per tonne, FCA, while the previous month deals were in the range of EUR1 150-1 220 per tonne, FCA.

In general, as reported by some market participants, European producers during the first days of negotiations contracted for more than 50% from the March export quotas polyethylene.
