Negotiations on the price level of the December European PE markets of the CIS countries started last week. Export quotas for most manufacturers is limited, with the largest lack of supply is noted in the segment of high-density polyethylene pipe (HDPE). All manufacturers announced increase of export prices of polyethylene, the largest price increase occurred in the high-density polyethylene (LDPE).
Transactions for December shipment HDPE discussed last week at the range of EUR1 300-1 370 per tonne, FCA, which is EUR30-40 per ton higher than the November level of prices. Transactions in the delivery pipe PE80 discussed between EUR 1320-1 370 per tonne, FCA.
Severe restrictions on exports from European manufacturers reported LDPE buyers. Transactions are mainly discussed between EUR1 320-1 380 per tonne, FCA, which is EUR80-110 per tonne higher than the November level of prices.
