European manufacturers have limited the decline in export prices PE in October for the markets of CIS countries

Negotiations regarding the October level of European PE prices for the CIS markets began last week. Export quotas many manufacturers has grown during the autumn months, with the exception of low-pressure polyethylene (HDPE) due to unplanned stops of individual plants. In most cases, European manufacturers have limited the decline in export prices of polyethylene.

Transactions for October shipment PND was discussed last week in the range of EUR1 240-1 310 per tonne, FCA, on average of 30 euros per ton below the September level of prices. Many companies still noted serious lack of supply of polyethylene pipe. The situation has improved in the market of high-pressure polyethylene (LDPE), deals mainly discussed in the range of EUR1 200-1 260 per tonne, FCA, which is EUR40 per ton below the September level of prices. In most cases, European manufacturers have extended the September pictures linear polyethylene (LDL) in the October delivery.

The deal on the supply of metallocene LDL from Europe was discussed in the range of EUR1 490-1 560 per tonne, FCA.
