In July, the European manufacturers have cut prices of polypropylene for CIS markets

Negotiations on the July prices of European PP began on Tuesday. Many market participants have concluded that most manufacturers have cut prices in the current month, despite limited export quotas.

This week deal regarding July supply of propylene homopolymer (PP-Homo) were discussed in the range of EUR1 300-1 400 per tonne, FCA, whereas the month before the deal was agreed in the range of EUR1 370-1 440 per tonne, FCA. Some companies reported that they this week failed to sagasoft deal of time and volume of polypropylene from European manufacturers, in particular, there are restrictions in the procurement of PP in Romania and the Czech Republic.
