The production of cars in Ukraine in April decreased by 13% compared with March, the press service of Ukrautoproma reported.

According to preliminary data, six Ukrainian plants in April produced 675 vehicles.

“Statistics of the passenger segment of the domestic automotive industry continues to be formed only by the large-scale assembling of Skoda cars, which dropped by 10% in April to the March result.” In total, 615 cars were collected from the Shedovo car kits, “it was reported.

The production of buses in the country for the month decreased by 13% and amounted to 54 units.

Earlier it was noted that according to Ukrautoproma, in January-February 2018, 1291 cars were produced at Ukrainian auto enterprises, which is 70.8% more than in the same period last year.

As reported by the company MRC, production of cars in Ukraine in 2017 increased by 63.1% compared to 2016. However, in the world rating, it took only the penultimate place with the volume of production of cars.
