The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) has launched a broadcast with a plastic bottle that decomposes in real time. Stream will be 450 years old – that is how long it will take for it to decompose completely.
The purpose of this action is to draw attention to the problem of pollution of the oceans with plastic. The Wildlife Fund also published a petition calling for an international agreement to stop the pollution of the ocean with plastic waste.

According to the fund, about eight million tons of plastic are released into the ocean every year. This problem, the petition emphasizes, has been ignored for years.
