In the structure of exports from Ukraine to Russia, according to the Federal Customs Service, the share of chemical products in 2016 increased to 20.4% from 18.6% in 2015. At the same time, the volume of exports of plastics and plastic products amounted to 159.2 million US dollars, which is 10.9% less than the same indicator in 2015 and is only 4% in the total volume of shipments to Russia.

In terms of value, exports to Russia of rubber, rubber and products based on them in 2016 grew by 15.3% – to 20.0 million dollars, which is only 0.5% of the total exports. Supplies from Ukraine to Russia of chemical threads in monetary terms increased by 23.0% in comparison with 2015 and amounted to 2.4 million US dollars. At the same time, the export of chemical fibers in 2016 fell by 2.8% – to 5.4 million dollars. At the same time, the share of supplies of chemical threads and fibers in the country’s total exports does not exceed 1%.
