AUCHAN Retail Russia is testing a complete rejection of plastic bags. The first hypermarkets, at the cash desks of which they completely refused to sell plastic packaging, were AUCHAN Tyumen and AUCHAN City Zvezdny.<\/p>\n

AUCHAN Retail Russia is launching a number of environmental initiatives aimed at the complete rejection of plastic bags in chain stores. So, from August 24, 2019 in AUCHAN Retail Russia hypermarkets located in Tyumen, at the cash desks, customers are offered only paper bags and non-woven reusable bags. To inform buyers at the entrance to the stores, special posters with the slogan \u201cSave the planet together!\u201d Are posted, as well as voice messages are broadcast on the trading floor urging you to purchase reusable packaging. \u201cThe company is constantly studying international experience in retail and adopting various environmental initiatives.
