Imports of propylene to the Chinese market decreased in June this year by 24.7% compared with the same month last year, ICIS reported citing official data from Chinese customs.<\/p>\n

Thus, this indicator for the reporting month amounted to 207.38 thousand tons of propylene against 275.24 thousand tons in June 2018.<\/p>\n

In relation to May 2019 (231.38 thousand tons), the June import of material showed a decrease of 10.4%.<\/p>\n

Propylene is the main raw material for the production of polypropylene (PP).<\/p>\n

The total production volume of PP in Russia increased by 4% in the first six months of this year compared to the same period in 2018 and amounted to about 732 thousand tons. Four out of seven manufacturers increased capacity utilization.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
